TaoTao Scooter in Colorado Springs

If you struggled to find a TaoTao scooter in Colorado Springs (not Denver or Jefferson County Fair Grounds or some other random place), then join the club. I was sold every other brand of scooter when I was shopping except a TaoTao.

In fact, I was told that Chinese scooters like the TaoTao model were horrible and that nobody would repair them.

I would have listened to their bogus advice if it weren't for the unrelenting fact that I didn't want to spend more than $800 on a scooter and I had my heels dug in the ground. Growing up, the scooters I'd ride were pieces of garbage, and so the thought of spending $3300 on a scooter made me gag.

I wanted a cheap scooter, but if I were honest with myself, I also wanted a scooter that looked good.

When I bought my TaoTao, I had to make a day of it and drive 3 hours and make my way through a flea market only to lie my scooter down in the back of my Ford Expedition, have gas nearly make me puke, and scratch my newest purchase as I drove 90 minutes home.

The service was poor, but I loved my scooter. It is cherry red and it has been super dependable. Plus, I found a repairman for my scooter in Colorado Springs.

My TaoTao scooter has never let me down, and so I decided to sell them.
